Meet Our Founder & C.E.O
KD McCauley is a freelance makeup artist, widely known as "KD GlowShow", who started her career in February 2018. She developed her skills, knowledge, and techniques over the next four years and worked with certified estheticians & cosmetologists, celebrities & Actors, and even some apparel & fitness brands while working as a beauty advisor and production assistant. With a growing social presence, KD realized that beauty is more than just skin deep. Hence, in 2022, she started her medical training to understand the connection between beauty and health. She obtained her CNA, CPT and CCMA certifications, and now has a central understanding of beauty and health.
In 2023, KD broke into prevention as an outreach specialist, covering COVID, STDs, and HIV. She finished the year as a certified community promise linkage to care coordinator. With a central understanding of beauty and health, KD knows that there is still so much knowledge left to learn.
KD McCauley founded The Glow Palace with a major goal in mind; to inspire other LGBT members to have the confidence to be seen, live a happy lifestyle of their choice, and feel welcomed, safe and at home. The Glow Palace uses vibrant, colorful looks, bold and fierce physical practices, and ethical and moral clinical practices to achieve this goal. KD believes that every individual deserves to feel beautiful and confident in their skin, and should have access to resources that can help them achieve their desired look.
